SOUTHWEST AIRLINES SKI GETAWAY SWEEPSTAKES

 

1. To Enter:
No purchase or obligation necessary. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. (ET) on September 7, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on November 12, 2009. To enter without purchase or obligation, complete entry form online at http://southwestsweeps.onlinepromo.com. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on November 12, 2009. Limit (1) entry per registration. Additional Entries: After successfully completing and submitting the entry form as instructed above, you will be prompted to opt in to receive the Southwest Airlines "Click 'N Save" newsletter. Complete and submit the newsletter opt in form as instructed and you will automatically receive five (5) additional entries. The maximum number of entries you can receive is six (6), one (1) by completing the entry form and five (5) by opting in to the Southwest Airlines "Click 'N Save" newsletter. Entrants must provide a valid e-mail address. In the event of a dispute over identity of the on-line entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by holder of the e-mail account on the date the entry was submitted.

 

2. Drawing:
On or about November 19, 2009, a random drawing from all eligible entries received will be conducted under the supervision of an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Prize is guaranteed to be awarded. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

 

3. Prize:
One (1) Grand Prize: A ski trip for four (4) persons to Lake Tahoe, NV. Prize consists of roundtrip air travel on Southwest Airlines from closest major airport to winner's residence served by Southwest Airlines, a gift certificate for four (4) night's stay at Harvey's Lake Tahoe Hotel and Casino (one room), rental car for four (4) days, and ski lift tickets for each person for four (4) days. No substitutions, cash equivalents, or transfers of prize permitted, except at the sole discretion of Sponsors. Winner and travel companions must travel before December 1, 2010 or prize will be forfeited. Weekends, holidays and other blackout dates and restrictions may apply. Exact dates are at the discretion of Sponsors. All persons must depart and return to same airport. Value of Grand Prize is approximately $3,826. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Rental car agency will be selected by Sponsor at their sole discretion and usage of rental car is conditional upon winner meeting the terms and conditions of the rental car agency. If winner is not eligible to accept rental car, $250 will be substituted in lieu of rental.

 

4. Eligibility:
Sweepstakes open to all legal U.S. residents, 21 years and older at time of entry. Employees of Southwest Airlines Co., Microsoft Corporation, their respective advertising and promotions agencies and their immediate families (spouse and parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and individuals living in the same households of such employees are ineligible. Entrants must have Internet access as of September 7, 2009. Sweepstakes subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to these official rules and accept decisions of the Sponsors as final. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. This promotion is offered in the United States only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Do not proceed in this site if you are not located in the United States.

 

5. To Claim Prize:
Winner will be notified on or about November 19, 2009 and will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release, which must be returned within seven (7) days after prize notification or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If prize notification letter is returned undeliverable, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing. Grand Prize winner's guests, or if minor(s) their parent(s)/legal guardian(s), must execute Liability Releases, and where legal, Publicity Releases prior to the issuance of travel documents. Any unclaimed or undeliverable prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner's name, hometown and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity in any media without additional compensation.

 

6. Limitation of Liability:
Neither Sponsors, nor their affiliated entities, are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any sweepstakes related materials; or transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. Winner is solely responsible for payment of all federal, state, and local taxes on prize and for any travel or other expenses not specifically mentioned in prize description. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failure compromises the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion.

 

This sweepstakes offer is being made exclusively by Sponsors. Participating partners will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with their participation in this offer or any prize awarded.

 

Sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections or fraud; incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission whether caused by Sponsors, user, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the process of submissions which may limit a participant's ability to participate in this promotion.
